How to Read and Understand Odds

For the favourite (odds on Team B winning): Decimal 1.25 = Fractional 1/4 = American -400. This means a ৳200 bet returns only ৳250 (৳50 profit). American minus odds show how much you need to stake to win ৳100.
How do odds work in a multi bet?
If three selections had odds of 1.40, 1.60 and 1.90, the combined odds would be: 1.40 × 1.60 × 1.90 = 4.26 (approximately). So a ৳100 bet returns ৳426 — but only if all three selections win. If even one loses, the entire ৳100 is gone. Multi bets are attractive but carry higher risk.
Remember: Higher odds mean higher potential returns — but the chance of winning is proportionally lower. Betting is for entertainment, not as a source of guaranteed income.
Live Odds shift with every wicket and over
Live or in-play betting means placing bets while the match is in progress. Odds change after every ball, every wicket or every big shot.
Say the first team has made a strong start — 80 runs in 10 overs with no wickets lost. At this moment the odds for the first team to win will shorten (as their chances have improved), while the second team's odds will lengthen. If two wickets then fall in the next over, everything can reverse again.
